citelayer® Pro for WooCommerce makes your WooCommerce catalog machine-readable for AI agents while keeping WooCommerce in charge of availability, orders, and payment.



The WooCommerce add-on v1.2.19 ships the UCP Commerce API for WooCommerce with Full UCP REST Commerce Support: product discovery, catalog search, product details, categories, cart validation and calculation, signed short-lived Draft Cart resources, buyer-reviewed pending-order checkout handoff through WooCommerce payment_url, signed checkout lifecycle reads or cancel for unpaid pending UCP orders, signed PII-safe order reads, and machine-readable coverage, auth, OpenAPI, Business Profile, WebMCP, and llms.txt discovery.



UCP Product Discovery, Search, Details, and Categories



Agents can query published WooCommerce products through public REST endpoints, search the catalog, read product details, and inspect categories. Product responses respect WooCommerce catalog visibility, stock status, and purchasability checks, so hidden or unavailable products are not presented as normal purchasable results.



Stateless Cart Validation and Calculation



Because AI agents do not share a shopper’s browser session, cart requests are stateless. Agents submit a proposed cart payload, and WooCommerce validates product IDs, quantities, stock, and purchasability. A separate calculation endpoint returns subtotal, discounts, taxes, shipping estimates, total, and currency for that payload.



Pending-Order Checkout Handoff



When checkout is enabled, the add-on can create a WooCommerce order in pending status and return the order’s native payment_url. The customer reviews and pays through the regular WooCommerce checkout/payment flow; the add-on does not charge customers or bypass WooCommerce payment confirmation.



Schema, llms.txt, WebMCP, and MCP Abilities



The add-on extends WooCommerce product data with Schema.org/Product enhancements, including Offer, AggregateOffer, AggregateRating, and Review data when that data exists in the store. It also publishes machine-readable catalog files at /shop/llms.txt and /llms-products.txt, extends WebMCP context, and registers MCP Abilities on compatible WordPress versions.
