AI Readiness Scores: Site, Page and Blind Spots
On This Page
citelayer® has several local diagnostic scores with different inputs. Read the checks behind each number; they are not a measurement of AI citations.
Dashboard site scan
The site scanner runs six base checks: schema, robots, llms.txt, Content-Signal, topic coverage and local brand identity signals. Four product checks are added when WooCommerce is present: feed, content, images and stock.
Status values are pass 100, warn 70, info 50 and fail 20. The dashboard score is the weighted mean of checks with positive weight. llms.txt has weight zero and remains visible for diagnosis.
Per-page editor checklist
The editor uses twelve separate configuration/content checks: excerpt, image, length, schema, llms inclusion, Markdown, AI input preference, opening summary, heading structure, internal links, FAQ presence and topic coverage. In Free 1.13.5, llms inclusion still carries ten points here; this differs from the dashboard scanner.
Blindspot content score
The Blind Spots screen uses its own local page-characteristic heuristic to prioritize pages without a matching logged visit. It is neither the dashboard scan nor the editor checklist.
Local heuristics and external measurements
Topic coverage examines heading concepts and links, with a limited dashboard sample. Brand Demand Signals checks configured identity/profile details, not real search demand. No embedded GSC, Semrush or Sistrix dataset measures demand in this scan.
Act on evidence
- Open the failing check and inspect its actual input or response.
- Fix a confirmed access, data or content problem.
- Run the check again and document the changed observation.
- Measure traffic and citations separately if those are your business question.
Next step
Continue with the quick start checklist, or check the common questions. For a reproducible problem, send the plugin versions, affected URL, expected result and actual response through Support. Do not include passwords, license keys or customer details.
